Arbitrary deletion via unchecked run-name paths
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
Path traversal in Aim 3.19.3 allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary files or directories through the runs/delete-batch endpoint. The endpoint passes user-supplied run names to repository deletion logic without rejecting traversal sequences used to resolve log and metadata paths. No authentication or user interaction is required, and deletion is limited to filesystem locations writable by the Aim server process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
