Stored XSS via unchecked preset title duplication
Published Jul 27, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Product Table & List Builder for WooCommerce 3.5.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts. The wcpt_presets__duplicate_preset_to_table function updates the selected post title without checking caller capabilities and stores the title without sanitization. Subscriber access is sufficient to alter arbitrary post titles, and a crafted title executes when an administrator views it through a product table.
