SQL execution via crafted REST Interface URL
Published Aug 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 16, 2024
SQL injection in affected AVEVA Historian 2020 and 2023 releases allows remote attackers to execute SQL through a crafted URL. AVEVA identifies the Historian REST Interface and crafted URL but has not disclosed the affected parameter or unsafe query construction. Exploitation requires an interactive Historian REST Interface user to open the link, after which SQL runs with that user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
