Browser script execution via crafted URL
Published Aug 28, 2024 · Updated Jan 9, 2025
Reflected XSS in HyperView Geoportal Toolkit before 8.5.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via a crafted URL. The affected endpoint and parameter are undisclosed; URL-supplied input is reflected into browser-executable output without adequate neutralization. Exploitation requires a user to open the attacker-crafted link, and the documented consequence is script execution in that user's browser.
