CVE-2024-6429Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Content spoofing via unvalidated authentication error message

Published Sep 23, 2025 · Updated Sep 23, 2025

Content spoofing in affected WSO2 server products allows remote attackers to display arbitrary error text through a crafted URL. The authentication portal's domain.jsp reads AUTH_FAILURE_MSG from the query string and accepts text absent from its resource bundle for display. No account is required, but a victim must open the crafted authentication URL; the injected message can impersonate trusted UI text for social engineering.
