CVE-2024-6421Network attack vector

Unauthenticated information disclosure via anonymous FTP access

Published Jul 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 22, 2025

Information disclosure in Pepperl+Fuchs OIT device firmware 2.11.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read sensitive files via FTP. The embedded FTP service accepts anonymous access to images, device serial and version data, OS logs, and configuration files. Network reachability to the device is sufficient; the flaw exposes data without authentication but does not provide write access or interrupt operation.
