Stored XSS via unescaped slider title
Published Jul 31, 2024 · Updated Jul 31, 2024
Stored XSS in Slider by 10Web before 1.2.57 allows remote authenticated users with Editor access to inject browser scripts. The Slider Configurator stores an unescaped Title and renders it as an HTML attribute in the sliders table, so an event-handler payload executes when a user moves over its thumbnail. Editor-level access and either WordPress multisite or disabled unfiltered_html are required; execution occurs in the browser of a user viewing the affected administration page.
