Stored XSS via unescaped subject field output
Published Jun 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stored XSS in School Management System PHP MySQL 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to run script in a viewer's browser. subject.php stores posted title and description values, then concatenates them into HTML without output encoding. A Teacher session is required to store the payload, and execution requires another user to view the subject list, allowing modification of page content in that viewer's session.
