Improper access control in Absolute Persistence before 2.8 allows physically proximate attackers to execute OS commands on Windows devices. The firmware module bypasses server identity validation, but Absolute Security has not published the failing check or how hostile traffic reaches it. The module must be unactivated, and exploitation requires both physical device access and full hostile network control.
