Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized update parameter
Published Jun 24, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in Lahiru Danushka School Management System 1.0.0 through 1.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to access database data. The Student Page concatenates the update query parameter directly into a SELECT statement in student.php without parameterization or escaping. A valid Teacher session is required; a crafted student identifier can change the database query used to retrieve a student's record.
