Unauthenticated stored XSS via unsanitized patient fields
Published Jun 23, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stored XSS in SourceCodester Clinic Queuing System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The patient_side.php form sends Full Name, Contact, and Address values to save_patient(), which stores them without sanitization for later rendering. No authentication is required to submit a payload, but an administrator must open the reports page, where the stored script executes in that browser.
