Stored script execution via unescaped PFG attributes
Published Jun 27, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in A WP Life Portfolio Filter Gallery 1.6.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via PFG attributes. The PFG shortcode passes user-supplied attributes into gallery output without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping, leaving script markup in a published page. Contributor-level access is required to plant the payload, which executes in a visitor's browser whenever the injected page is opened.
