Database disclosure via unsanitized login username
Published Jun 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Food Ordering Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data through the login form. The login flow passes the POST username value into a plain SQL query without validation, sanitization, or a prepared statement, enabling boolean- and time-based blind injection. No authentication or user interaction is required; a crafted username can enumerate databases and dump the users table, while broader write or service impact was not demonstrated.
