Sensitive data disclosure via email template injection

Published Aug 6, 2024 · Updated Mar 25, 2025

Template injection in HaloITSM before 2.146.1 allows remote attackers to read potentially sensitive data through generated emails. The published record identifies the email-generation engine as the locus but does not disclose how untrusted template input reaches or is evaluated by it.
