Authenticated service crash via wpapsk_crypto stack overflow
Published Jun 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda A301 15.13.08.12 allows remote authenticated users to crash the service through wpapsk_crypto. The fromSetWirelessRepeat handler at /goform/WifiExtraSet accepts an oversized parameter that overwrites stack memory; the exact copy operation is undisclosed. Access requires low-privileged authentication to the network management interface, and the resulting corruption can also affect data confidentiality and integrity.
