Browser script execution via unencoded dimension parameters
Published Jun 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Reflected cross-site scripting in LabVantage LIMS 2017 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through height or width parameters. The filesembedded.jsp response incorporates attacker-controlled height and width values without neutralizing them for HTML output. A low-privileged account and victim interaction are required; successful exploitation executes script in the victim browser context and can alter displayed content.
