CVE-2024-6176

Adjacent port scanning via unthrottled resource allocation

Published Jun 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Resource exhaustion in LG SuperSign CMS 4.1.3 through 4.3.0 allows remote attackers to scan ports on the adjacent network. LG has not published the affected component, request path, or resource operation that turns untrusted input into port-scan activity. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access and active interaction by a target user, and the reported consequence is limited to port scanning and service availability.
