Subscriber-level data modification via unchecked AJAX handlers
Published Jul 18, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Booking Ultra Pro 1.1.13 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify or delete plugin data. Multiple AJAX handlers, including save_fields_settings, bup_delete_user_avatar, and bup_crop_avatar_user_profile_image, perform sensitive writes or deletions without checking the caller's capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient to alter payments, pricing, bookings, business hours, calendars, profiles, and email templates.
