A heap-based buffer overflow in Toolgate in Parallels Desktop before 18.1.0 and 18.2.0 (53488) allows local users to run host code. Toolgate copies user-supplied data into a fixed-length heap buffer without first validating its length. Exploitation requires high-privileged code execution in a guest and yields arbitrary code execution as the current user on the macOS host.
