Policy bypass via skipped first-session GACS enforcement
Published Jul 10, 2024 · Updated Mar 25, 2025
Incorrect default permissions in Citrix Workspace app for HTML5 before 2404.1 allow remote authenticated users to bypass GACS policy settings. The HTML5 client's first-session initialization fails to apply Global App Configuration service settings, leaving configured restrictions unenforced. Exploitation requires a customer-managed deployment with GACS configured and lets a session evade administrator-defined configuration controls.
