Stored XSS via unescaped integration settings
Published Jul 11, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stored XSS in AYS Pro Plugins Secure Copy Content Protection before 4.0.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts. The General Settings integration form stores the ays_mailchimp_username and ays_mailchimp_api_key values and renders them without sanitization or output escaping. Administrator-level access is required even when unfiltered_html is disabled, and a later visit to the affected settings view executes the stored script.
