Administrator script execution via unescaped customer search
Published Aug 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 9, 2024
Reflected XSS in Tips and Tricks HQ WP eStore before 8.5.6 allows remote attackers to execute scripts through customer search. The customer-management page returns the eStore_customer_search POST value without sanitizing or escaping it before HTML output. An unauthenticated attacker must induce a logged-in administrator to submit a crafted form, after which the script runs in that administrator's browser context.
