Reflected XSS via open redirect
Published Jul 29, 2024 · Updated Feb 23, 2026
Reflected XSS in M-Files Hubshare before 5.0.6.0 allows remote attackers to run arbitrary JavaScript in a victim's browser session. M-Files identifies an open redirect as the delivery mechanism but does not disclose the affected endpoint, parameter, or response-handling error. Exploitation requires a victim to follow a crafted URL, after which script runs with that browser session's access and can read or alter content available to it.
