CVE-2024-6122

Credential disclosure via permissive Redis directory ACLs

Published Jul 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Incorrect permissions in SystemLink Server 2024 Q1 and earlier and FlexLogger 2023 Q2 and earlier allow local users to read Redis credentials. The shared KeyValueDatabase service directory grants Users or Authenticated Users access to credentials used by its Redis instance. Local low-privileged code execution is required, and the exposed stored credentials enable further compromise without directly altering data or interrupting service.
