Coupon deletion via missing CSRF validation
Published Jul 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in WP eStore before 8.5.5 allows remote attackers to delete coupons through an administrator's browser. The wp_eStore_discounts administration route processes delete_record and record_id values without validating a CSRF nonce before deleting the selected coupon. A logged-in administrator must open the crafted link, and the demonstrated consequence is deletion of a valid coupon rather than broader store compromise.
