Admin-session script execution via unescaped editcustomer parameter
Published Jul 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Reflected XSS in Tips and Tricks HQ WP eStore before 8.5.5 allows remote attackers to run scripts in an administrator's browser via a crafted URL. The customer-editing page copies the editcustomer query parameter into its HTML response without sanitizing or escaping it. Exploitation requires a high-privilege user to open the crafted link, allowing script actions within that user's WordPress session.
