Administrator-session script execution via reflected discount input
Published Jul 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Reflected XSS in WP eStore before 8.5.5 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in an administrator's browser via discount editing. The discount-editing page returns a request parameter in generated HTML without sanitization or output escaping; published records do not identify the parameter or code locus. Exploitation requires an administrator to open a crafted request, exposing data or actions available in that browser session.
