Database disclosure via unsanitized class identifier
Published Jun 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Music Class Enrollment System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database records through the id parameter. The class/view_class handler incorporates the GET id value into a MySQL WHERE or HAVING expression without neutralizing quote-delimited SQL, enabling Boolean- and time-based blind queries. Low-privilege access is required, and the published proof retrieves database names and dumps the users table without reported code execution.
