Script execution via reflected height and width
Published Jun 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Cross-site scripting in LabVantage LIMS 2017 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through height or width parameters. The SampleHistoricalList request reflects either parameter into generated HTML without neutralizing executable content. An attacker needs LIMS access and a victim to open the crafted request; successful exploitation alters content in that victim's browser.
