OS command injection in GeoVision EOL surveillance devices allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands without authentication. The /DateSetting.cgi handler passes the szSrvIpAddr NTP-server parameter to a system command without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Any network client that can reach the endpoint can run commands with the device service's privileges, enabling malware download and execution.
