Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized login username
Published Jun 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Best House Rental Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read and modify database data via the login form. The admin_class.php login path passes the username parameter directly into an SQL query without validation, causing injected clauses to execute as query syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required; the published time-delay payload demonstrates blind extraction through the login POST endpoint.
