Unauthorized data import via missing capability check
Published Jul 17, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Arraytics Eventin 4.0.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to import event-management data. The import_file function processes imported events, speakers, schedules, and attendee records without checking the caller's required capability. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and successful use writes unauthorized records into the WordPress site's event data.
