Sandbox escape via unrestricted interface modification
Published Apr 30, 2025 · Updated Apr 30, 2025
Sandbox escape in Tesla Model S firmware 2023.44.29 allows local users to bypass network isolation through the oFono process. The privileged oFono process permits sandboxed code to modify network interfaces, enabling traffic to evade the iptables sandbox.
