Database access via unvalidated bookisbn query
Published Jun 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in admin_delete.php in itsourcecode.com Online Book Store System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to access database data. The endpoint inserts the bookisbn parameter directly into an SQL statement without sanitization or validation, allowing the value to alter the query structure. Published assessments disagree on the gate: VulDB requires low privileges, while NVD treats the endpoint as unauthenticated; successful injection can read, modify, or delete application data.
