Improper input validation in Rockwell Automation ThinManager ThinServer allows remote attackers to interrupt service with a crafted message. Some monitor-thread callers pass an attacker-controlled body size to GetDataFromMsgBody without the size checks added to other callers. No authentication or user interaction is required over the proprietary TCP/2031 service, and the documented consequence is availability loss only.
