Unauthenticated code execution via synchronization message

Improper input validation in Rockwell Automation ThinManager ThinServer allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted message. The synchronization-message handler accepts an unauthenticated type 20 message as a Tcl command and can invoke local or remote executables as SYSTEM. Network access to the proprietary ThinServer service on TCP port 2031 is sufficient, granting full control of the Windows host.
