Reflected XSS via unneutralized crafted URL input
Published Jun 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Reflected XSS in Trol InterMedia 2ClickPortal 7.2.31 through 7.6.4 allows remote attackers to run scripts via crafted URLs. The public advisory does not identify the affected parameter or page-rendering locus; it states only that crafted URL input is not neutralized before inclusion in a response. Exploitation requires a victim to follow the URL, after which the script executes in that user's browser context and accesses data and actions exposed to the page.
