Unauthenticated code execution via donor-title deserialization
Published Aug 20, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
PHP object injection in StellarWP GiveWP 3.14.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted donation data. Donation processing omits give_title from its serialized-field check, stores the value as donor metadata, and later unserializes it through get_meta(). An unauthenticated donation submission can therefore activate the bundled POP chain, invoke shell_exec in the web-server context, or delete arbitrary server files.
