System crash via unrestricted web file upload

Arbitrary file upload in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS 10.1 before 10.1.9 and 10.2 before 10.2.4 allows remote authenticated users to crash Panorama. The vendor identifies the Panorama web interface as the upload locus but has not disclosed the handler, accepted file types, or missing validation that permits the upload. Exploitation requires a read-write administrator account; one upload can disrupt processes and crash Panorama, while repetition forces maintenance mode and manual recovery.
