Database data disclosure via unescaped id parameter
Published Jun 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Eyewear Shop Website 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data via a crafted id parameter. The manage_product.php handler places the id value directly into an SQL statement without validation, and the public error-based payload extracts the database name. The published proof of concept sends a session cookie, although the CNA scores privileges as unnecessary; demonstrated impact is bounded to database-information disclosure.
