Script execution via unescaped country parameter
Published Jun 29, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in Marcus Sykes Events Manager 6.4.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts through the country parameter. The affected response reflects the country request value into generated page markup without sufficient sanitization or context-appropriate escaping. Exploitation requires a victim to follow a crafted link, after which the injected script runs in that victim's browser under the affected site's origin.
