Heap corruption via PDFium use-after-free
Published Jun 11, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Use after free in PDFium in Google Chrome before 126.0.6478.54 allows remote attackers to corrupt heap memory through a crafted PDF file. The PDFium renderer accesses an object after its backing memory has been freed; the restricted bug report does not identify the object or triggering code path. Exploitation requires Chrome to render the crafted PDF, and public sources establish heap corruption but no more specific consequence.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
