Improper access control in Akuvox Smart Intercom and Smart Doorphone firmware allows remote authenticated users to gain administrative control. ServicesHTTPAPI accepts configuration-changing requests from basic User accounts without enforcing administrator-only authorization. A valid User account and network access to the device interface are required; exploitation permits API-access and system-configuration changes.
