Stored XSS via insufficient URI scheme validation
Published Dec 18, 2025 · Updated Dec 18, 2025
Stored XSS in Kentico Xperience 13.0.162 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through rich-text content. The page and form builder's rich text editor accepts entered URIs without restricting them to allowed schemes, so dangerous links survive storage and later rendering. An editor must save crafted content and a user must view the rendered content, exposing that user's browser data and actions to the script.
