Client-side script execution via stored forum field
Published Dec 11, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025
Stored XSS in Flatboard 3.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in visitors' browsers via a forum information field. The Add Forum workflow stores the Information field and renders it without neutralizing injected HTML event handlers. Administrator access is required to save the payload; execution occurs when another user views the forum and can expose that user's session cookie.
