Stored XSS in Nagios Log Server before 2024R1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser via a username. The Create User function accepts a script-bearing username and stores it without sufficient validation or output-context escaping before later pages render it. Create User access and a victim's authenticated visit to an affected page are required; execution occurs in that victim's browser context.
