Denial of service in mcginty Snow before 0.9.5 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt message delivery via injected packets. TransportState increments its receive nonce even when authenticated decryption rejects a packet, leaving the receiver ahead of the sender. The attack requires packet-injection access to a stateful Noise channel; StatelessTransportState is unaffected, and desynchronization blocks delivery.
