CVE-2024-58255

Arbitrary command execution via unchecked variable length

Published Aug 8, 2025 · Updated Aug 8, 2025

OS command injection in Huawei EnzoH-W5611T BIOS 1.07 allows local users with specific privileges to execute arbitrary commands. In the BdsDxe module, firmware gets certain variables and sets them again without validating an attacker-controlled variable length. Exploitation requires specific privileges and on-device access; successful use yields arbitrary command execution.
