Code execution via configuration file overwrite
Published Jun 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Path traversal in ParisNeo LoLLMS 9.4.0 allows attackers to overwrite server configuration through a crafted personality path. The /set_personality_config endpoint writes a traversal-controlled destination to configs/config.yaml without restricting the resolved path. Code execution requires local endpoint reachability and configuration changes that enable remote access while disabling code validation.
