CVE-2024-5821

Local file disclosure via filename correction

Published Jul 3, 2024 · Updated Oct 15, 2025

Path traversal in Stition Devika allows local users to read sensitive server files by submitting a misspelled file name. The agent corrects an invalid file name in a file-content request and returns the intended file, such as /etc/passwd, without enforcing an allowed path boundary. Local access to the running application is required, and successful exploitation discloses file contents without changing them or interrupting the service.
